Noemi has been dancing since she was a child, joined a dance troupe and travel the world but when she got married & have children she stop dancing to take care of her family. In 2008 she started dancing again, since her children are now older and she wanted to change career and wanted to start her own business and that’s how 4Ever Dance Studio is created.

 

Ron Pajela – Hip Hop Instructor, Fitness Coach/Instructor & Studio Director

Ron Pajela started dancing when he attended the University of the Philippines in 2006 where he learned and mastered the technique of hip hop (street dance) and all its different styles. He was a member and a dance choreographer for U.P. Street Dance Club and The Crew. Ron was a teacher assistant for one year and eventually started teaching his own classes and handled several competing teams which competed locally and internationally. He also has been competing in different hip hop competitions since 2009 bagging numerous wins under U.P. Street Dance Club and The Crew. Ron loves encouraging and challenging his students to bring the best out of their drive and talent.

 

Lovela Pajela – Performing Arts Director – Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, & Dance Fitness

Lovela received a degree in BS in Sports Science from the prestigious University of the Philippines. She started dancing when she was nine years old. She trained in different dance genres such as Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Cheer and Gymnastics. She was a part of the most established dance groups in the Philippines – “UP Street Dance Club” and “The Crew” where she had the chance to compete locally and internationally. This includes representing the Philippines in 2006 in Las Vegas for the World Hip Hop International and 2007 as representative for annual Delphic Asian games. She was also a member of the House of Dance Inc., which is a dance studio where its strength is in Jazz & Ballet. Being a part of the House of Dance Company for four years made her technique more solid and gave her the chance to go to Japan with the company to represent the Philippines at the Annual Jazz Congress. She was also a Junior Pep Cheer Squad coach for the School of the Holy Spirit, Enciende Hip Hop team of Saint Pedro Poveda, Cheer Dance Team from St. Paul College where they won numerous awards from national competitions. Also, was a Hip Hop teacher in one of the largest television networks in the Philippines, ABS/CBN and was an accredited teacher for the Australian Conservatory of Ballet in 2010.

 

Raymond Santos – Hip Hop

Raymond San‎tos has many years of studying, breaking down and training of multiple craft forms from choreography to bboying and tumbling to hip-hop execution and musical dissection. With a background in hip-hop under Pat Cruz at the Westlake School of the Performing Arts, R‎aymond recently moved back to the Bay Area from Los Angeles where he dabbled in the industry and was featured in commercials, background work and music videos for figures such as YouTube artist Sam Tsui and celebrity choreographer, Shane Sparks. Raymond has trained extensively under top working choreographers and dancers and has a unique approach to movement, expression and music. Raymond is currently focusing on self growth and evolution so that he can provide and pass on as much knowledge as he possibly can to those who are interested in learning about the field of not just dance but expressive movement, execution, musicality and artistry.

 

Meera Sarkar Riar – Kathak

Meera Sarkar Riar has been dancing, choreographing, and instructing Classical Kathak Dance for over 23 years. She is professionally trained in the Lucknow Gharana and her unique style is influenced by her gurus Kumudini Lakhia and Megan Black. Classical Kathak dance teaches students the basic foundations of grace, coordination, poise, and discipline that can last a lifetime. Meera Riar makes the challenge of learning classical dance fun, engaging, and exciting for ALL ages, and brings enthusiasm to each class. Outside of dance, Meera also has a vast background in teaching, mentoring, and leading through various community outreach programs. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology and a Master’s Degree in Public Health.

 

Karan Riar – Bollywood

Karan Riar hails straight from the Bollywood Film Industry in Mumbai where for over a decade, his performance, choreography, and entrepreneurial skills have led him to be an integral part of the Film and Performance Industry. Karan’s versatility in Bollywood Dance includes elements of Jazz, Hip Hop, Rock N’ Roll, Afro-Jazz, Salsa, Contemporary, Basic Ballet, Lyrical Hip Hop, and many other styles. Karan’s professional training has led him to choreograph and work with renowned choreographers such as Shiamak Davar, Geeta Kapur, Ganesh Hegde, and Inderjeet Sharma. He has trained Bollywood celebrities Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bacchan, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, and many more. You can see Karan’s work in the Bollywood movies “Dhoom 2”, “Kisna”, “I See You”, “Rab ne Bana di Jodi”, “Bunty Aur Bubli”, and “Yuvraj”. He has performed, taught, and choreographed as an assistant internationally for several Industry Award shows like IIFA, Filmfare, Star Screen Awards, and various television award shows. In the Bay Area, Karan Riar’s choreography has been showcased at CCF and ICC events, for the San Francisco Giants, and the NASA Ames Research Center. Karan’s most recent accomplishments include choreographing for the upcoming movie, “For Here or to Go”, filmed in San Francisco, CA.

 

Saira Khan – Bombay Jam

Saira has been teaching Bombay Jam® for two years now. She first fell in love with Bollywood dance when she started taking dance classes with Naach Company in 2006. She enjoyed dancing and performing so much, that she became a dance instructor with Naach Company for kids and adults. She continued to actively participate as a student, performer, and instructor with the Mona Khan Company for several years. She then discovered how her passion for dance can be merged with fitness via Bombay Jam® and decided to become a certified Bombay Jam® instructor in 2012. Saira is also AFAA certified in group fitness instruction.

 

Nijat (Che) Akhundov  Ballroom Instructor & Zumba Instructor

Nijat Akhundov (known as Che) is one of the newest staff members of 4Ever Dance Studio.He specializes in ballroom dancing.Nijat started dancing when he was 6 years old. He competed in a beginner level for several years. In 2007 Nijat started to take part in serious competitions held in Azerbaijan. His accomplishments include:

  • Champion of 2007 Baku City Open Championship
  • Champion of 2007 Azerbaijan Republic Championship
  • 2nd Place in 2007 Baku City Cup
  • Champion of 2008 Azerbaijan Republic Championship
  • 2nd Place in 2008 Baku City Cup
  • 2nd Place in 2009 Baku City Championship (Standard)
  • 2nd Place in 2009 Baku City Championship (Latin)

By moving to the United States in 2013 Nijat opened a new page in his dancing career. In July of 2014 he got certified for teaching Zumba Fitness.

 

Maylene Oliveira  Zumba

 

Maylene Oliveira had been teaching Zumba for about 5 1/2 years and wanted to try new dance fitness styles. In 2015 she decided to take a Bombay Jam® certification course. She loved it she rediscovered a renewed passion for teaching form the Bombay Jam® program. Bombay Jam® is powered by the explosively fun, globally appealing Bollywood culture. It provides the ultimate dance fitness total body workout and is effective, safe, easy to follow and packed with authentic Bollywood flavor! This total body workout incorporates cardio and toning routines combined in one action-packed class. The program has a serious focus on integrating fun & fitness.

Custom music mixes feature the hottest Bollywood tracks often combined with American Top 40 songs for instant, universal appeal. Choreography incorporates simple dance fitness moves and is packed with authentic Bollywood flavor!

Claudia Ossa  Booty Barre

 

Claudia Ossa is certified to teach Booty Barre®, Zumba for adults, kids and seniors, and indoor Cycling. Claudia offers high energy classes, keeping students motivated and engaged while enforcing the correct form and posture to avoid exercise injuries. Her mission is to encourage healthy living through fun and informative fitness activities for people with different abilities. She is passionate about building strong and healthy bodies through fitness and nutrition.

 

Julia Periera  Jazz/Hip Hop/Tap

 

Julia began dancing when she was seven years old by taking recreational classes, and as she got older she trained in competition Jazz, Tap and Hip-Hop while her passion for dance grew in. She was a member of Amador Valley High School’s dance team for 3 years, and after she graduated she became the team’s coach for one year. She also danced in the Las Positas College dance program for 3 semesters.

At 4Ever Dance Studio she teaches Jazz and Tap classes as well as a sassy Heels class.

 

Maria Bahia  Ballroom/Zumba

 

Maria started dancing during high school as part of a Filipino Dance Group where she danced various Filipino cultural dances at local Bay Area Filipino events. After taking a short break to finish her Bachelor’s Degree, she joined a Hawaiian Dance Group in Southern, CA where she danced Tahitian and Hula dances. But it wasn’t until she moved to Virginia when she discovered her passion for Ballroom dancing.  She started Ballroom dancing in her early 20’s in American Rhythm and American Smooth.  However, she put her dancing on hold while she completed her Master’s Degree and started a family.  After moving back to the Bay Area, she pursued her passion for Ballroom dancing in International Latin and International Standard (Ballroom). It wasn’t long before she started competing, where she placed in numerous Pro/Am and Amateur categories. Maria also enjoys Zumba® and obtained her Zumba® certification in January 2015.

 

Jennifer Goldstein  Contemporary/Jazz

Jennifer Nicole Goldstein is a licensed esthetician and has been dancing and competing her whole life. She started teaching dance as a teacher’s assistant while in middle school and high school. She then continued her dancing and teaching as a substitute. Currently she is back to teaching her own classes and loves bringing her knowledge to new young dancers and helping them develop their own skills.

 

Joelle Chapman  U-Jam®

Joelle Chapman is our new U-Jam Fitness® Instructor. She has been a life-long athlete and fitness junky—from competitive gymnast, dancer, and cross-country runner to aerobics groupie, boot camp addict, and yoga devotee. After a high-tech career, marriage, and still-growing children, Joelle begins her second career as a dance fitness instructor. She brings her love of dance and enthusiasm for fitness to her all classes. Her welcoming personality, humor, and attention to safety make even the first-time U-Jammer feel comfortable and engaged. Get fit while “gettin’ your groove on” with Joelle and U-Jam Fitness®!

Joelle’s qualifications include U-Jam Fitnes®s Instructor Certification, AFAA Primary Group Exercise Certification, and American Heart Association CPR/AED Certification. She’s taught U-Jam Fitness® in Truckee, CA and the Tri-Valley.

 

Adrienne Oliveira – Tahitian Blast

Tahitian Blast takes its roots from traditional Ori Tahiti dance movements, with the hips moving to the beat of the drum. The classes are low impact and promote cardio exercise with emphasis on the abs, hips, and booty. The classes start with a warm up, progress to traditional drills, and then dance to all types of music – everything from Pitbull to Meghan Trainor.

People of all fitness levels are welcome. The class is designed  for beginners (no Tahitian dance experience), but offers challenging movements for those more advanced. Adrienne wants people to walk in to class and leave all of life’s problems at the door and focus on themselves.  She hopes her students leave at the end of class having had fun and craving to come back for more. The class is fun, challenging and supportive.

Adrienne Oliveira began her dancing career in Miami, Florida as a professional Polynesian Dancer for various companies.  She is trained in Hula, Tahitian, Samoan and Maori dances. 

Adrienne is also a Zumba instructor and loves all types of dance movement. “I’m glad that I am able to share the gift of health, but my favorite part is making people feel good about themselves when they leave.”

Stacey Fong – Zumba®

Stacey Fong is licensed to teach Zumba Fitness.  She performed ballroom dance and Chinese Opera for many years before getting into Zumba, with the original goal of losing baby weight.  She soon discovered a passion for Zumba that went beyond losing baby weight!  Stacey loves Zumba because it combines the Latin ballroom she loves with great exercise.  She believes that the best way to get fit  is to have fun doing it, and Zumba is a key component of the “fun.”  Stacey’s classes are energetic and – you guessed it, FUN – and she always finds ways to add unique dance styling into her songs.

When Stacey is not in the Zumba studio, she is a voiceover actress who has provided the voices of video games, robots, and commercials.
Dori Young – Zumba®
Dori Young
Dori got her start with Zumba in 2007 with the first DVD Zumba Fitness series that she used at home in an effort to try to get back into shape after an accidental fall in 2004 left her with a titanium rod and screws in her right leg. While the DVDs gave her an invaluable foundation that she now uses as an instructor, you can’t beat the energy and fun of a live Zumba class.  Why? The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party, and nothing beats the feeling of freeing yourself to the music! She is still on her weight loss and fitness journey and has lost nearly 50 lbs and counting!

So she decided to become a Zumba instructor and help bring the fun of Zumba to others. If you’re thinking you have to be a great dancer, or a certain size to attend a class, think again. Just feel the music, move your body, and follow her lead. It’s easy and working out has never been so fun! Come try it – you will have a blast! Dori looks forward to shakin’ it with you in class!
